Legislative framework and activities are strictly for highly intelligent breeds and smart fellows, this is exhibited on a daily basis as the floor of the House isn't a private office setting which comes with more comfort and pleasure.
It's no doubt, the 8th Assembly has done enormously well and this is as a result of the intellectual capacity of the drivers (senators and rep members), especially those from Cross River State, specifically, Northern Cross River State.
Aside Fallacies, just tell us one thing Hon Jarigbe Agom 's opponents in the race will use against him in their campaign because it is obvious they are not going to embrace issues base campaign with what the development thus far.
Let them tell us, one thing they will do differently in the house if elected, that Hon Jarigbe Agom has not done.
Quick reminder! House of representatives is not a money bag source, it's not a market place. It's a place for parliamentary activities where issues of national interest are raised and discussed.
Hon Jarigbe Agom's capacity in the 8th Assembly is incomparable and unbroken. As a member of the House committees on Tertiary education and services (deputy chairman), petroleum resources (downstream), Defense, Water Resources, Navy, Army, IDPs, Land Transport, Federal Character, Public Procurement etc. Is no mean feat to achieve as a first timer.
Hon Jarigbe Agom deserves if possible more than 8 years in the House. But as a progressive and respectful leader who beliefs in the decision of his constituents, he will relinquish power in 2023 and take up another mandate for the interest of his people if God so pleases.
