Member representing Ogoja/Yala federal constituency Hon Jarigbe Agom kick off the Final of Ogoja Youths football tournament between Nkim Street and Federal School road.
Hon Jarigbe was greeted with overwhelming crowd on arrival.
The organizer of the tournament Yakubu Gowon aka civilian general, took out time to analyse his mission and vision of the laudable youth focus innovation.
Hon John Alaga the immediate past councilor of urban ward 2, also appreciated the MP for all his generosity towards the people of Urban Ward 2, precisely, he further said since their involvement in politics, Urban ward 2 have not benefited from politician, except for MP whom in his shortest time in office have done overwhelmingly well for urban ward 2, ranging from his empowerment program, Road construction especially the construction of Boki road and the water project along federal School road.
Hon Jarigbe Agom while speaking ,appreciated the entire urban ward 2 for standing by him. I believe if election is conducted 100 times in Urban Ward 2, I will win because the ward is always by my side,Hon Jarigbe said.
Hon Jarigbe Agom officially unveiled the trophy with cash donation of #200,000. #100, 000 for the winner and #50,000 for the runner up and #50,000 for the organisers. He took the kick off, and further promised to do everything God's willing to the best of his ability to encourage sports in Ogoja/Yala.
Urban Ward 2, pledged their total support for the reelection of Hon Jarigbe. They said unanimously that, a vote for the opposition is a waste vote and the people of urban ward 2 are not ready to waste their votes. Our vote is for PDP, they concluded.
