Governor Ayade in a function earlier in His administration did asked Cross Riverians not to trust him but rather believe in Him for He will earn their trust.
True to that request, the people never trusted Him as criticism, doubts, and all sorts of propaganda followed every of his great idea and dream for the state.
It is said that a man may become a walking encyclopedia of knowledge without possessing any power of value. This knowledge becomes power only to the extent that it is organized, classified and put into action.
Governor Ayade was truly a walking encyclopedia of growth and developmental knowledge that needed to be organised, classified and put into action. At the onset, every wise man know that translating ideas, into actions, creates a new era and world which ushers in changes that will meet with some resistance, given the human fearful nature.
To Ayade, these criticisms became inspirational tonic as He never was satisfied with just one success. At some point he kept the people more confused with the Names and descriptions of His industrialization projects. Even His Budget were not left out in the styles of names, "The Budget of Infinite Transposition etc."
I call it "Governance with dynamism, participationalism, inclusionalism and involvement."
With all the attacks, He held on strong to the principle that states, "Criticism would do you no damage or defeat your purpose once you know what you want." Ayade had a definite aim to transform the state Economically rather than repositioning her politically.
He knew first hand that the Superhighway, Deep Sea Port, Garment Factory, Calapharm, Rice City, Rice Mill, Cocoa processing factory etc. Are all what the people want. But who has the ideas and will to translate same into action was the picture Ayade stood for and painted of himself before the people.
Yet, He told them not to trust him but rather believe in Him for He will earn their trust as a natural principle.
Today, true to His desires and deep convictions and trust in himself and all He has in place for the people, Governor Ayade is earning the trust of the people as most of His ideas are translating into economic viable and sustainable ventures.
