PLIJ Calls For Peace In Nigeria

A humanitarian non governmental organisation, patriotic Lords Initiative For Justice (PLIJ) Abuja chapter, in a special celebration to mark its date of establishment has called on Nigerians and the Federal Government to foster peace and unity in the country.
The event which commenced with a sensitization road walk and enlightenment programme in collaboration with the Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC) reached a climax at the Kubwa Police station where the group donated chairs to the unit.
Speaking on behalf of the group, the Chapter President, Lord Precious Adaba said the gesture is part of the social responsibility framework which is one of the cardinal motive of the forum.
In his reaction, the Divisional Police Officer of the post, DSP S. Abayomi thanked members of PLIJ for their routine intervention and goodwill support to the unit.
He noted that the group recently donated torchlight and reflective jackets to aid patrol and surveillance in the unit.
The event had in attendance members of the PLIJ across the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
