Here comes another October 1st! Happy birthday to Nigeria. Happy independence to my dear and loving country and my fellow citizens who in the defaced phase of the sweet Nigeria are still striving hard to be faithful.
No matter the recession or insurgency, no matter the hunger and unemployment, no matter the hardship, no matter who rule us, no matter the partial leadership we are facing, no matter the man inhumanity to man, no matter what and no matter the stress of making things right, it still went wrong.
We can't deny our dear country. Even if we run to another country, we can't change the identity of our country from our mind, rather sometimes we even got killed and humiliated by those we ran to seek greener pasture in their land.
Nigeria today may not be the Nigeria our founding fathers build and fought for, but we should not help those who are destroying it to add more but try and renovate the face of Nigeria to be the better one.
I charge all our leaders and upcoming leaders to try their best to deliver this country from bondage of bad leadership and renew the face of this great nation. The future of Nigeria lies on our palm as Youths, leaders, adult and whatever you may think of. All of us have something to offer to Nigeria to make it the land of milk and honey, it our country and not their country, so I wish to beg both parents and children of Nigeria, both in diaspora to be steadfast and faithful as a Nigerian for better days still lies in this great nation.
Happy 58 birthday my dear Nigeria. We love you and cherished you.
Long live federal republic of Nigeria!!
