Prince George Ogonyi today received the good people of Maa' Itele community of Yache ward in Yala Local government Area of Cross River State, led by their Clan head Chief Isaac Omaji, in Abuja. In his company were their patron Mr. Agama Ugbahi and the community youth leader Mr. Joseph Agebe.

He brought good will message from the entire maa' Itele people who have unanimously declared their total support for Prince George in his aspiration to represent them at the Cross River State House of Assembly, come 2019.

Chief Omaji encouraged Prince George not to give up in his pursuit towards the restoration of the hope of Yala 1  constituency and further advised his people to give their unalloyed support to George and join in praying for his success in the forth coming primary election as it is the first time a son of the community will be standing in a competitive state election.
The people took turn to give assurances to work tirelessly to deliver Prince George when he becomes the party's flag bearer. They said that they are all registered voters of the ward and are ready to go back home to vote during elections.
The youth leader insisted that he came from home to attend the meeting in Abuja to show how much their prince is loved and promised to sensitise those at home on the need to choose a credible and peoples' oriented person to Lead them. He described Prince George Ogonyi as a symbol of God's favour that will attract further development to the community to compliment the good work and intention of the governor through our son Dr. Steve Odey, for the betterment of Yala in general
Prince George Ogonyi in his response, advised them to embrace peace at all times. He said election is not war and he is not desperate because he sees it as a call to serve, but will be relying on God and the delegates to do the right thing by nominating him to fly the party's flag at the general elections. He emphasized further that he is the only aspirant with large number of supporters across party lines, he is youthful and have touched lives positively and that the people are eager to reciprocate the gesture with their votes as an encouragement to do more. So there is no need fighting ourselves for anything.
He further admonished them to believe in his ambition in other to right the wrongs for the development of Yala.
He promised to work with the chiefs in Yala because they are part and parcel of development
Prince George  thanked the people for their unwavering support and promise to come back to them when entrusted with the full mandate for the 2019 elections.
