APPROVAL FOR DECENTRALIZATION OF THE OPERATIONS OF CRS WATER BOARD AND APPOINTMENT OF GENERAL MANAGERS FOR THE SUB-STATIONS

His Excellency, the Governor of Cross River State, Senator, Prof. Ben Ayade has approved the decentralization of the operations of Cross River State Water Board to make the sub-stations self-accounting and ensure efficiency in service delivery. The water sub-stations include Akamkpa, Calabar, Ikom, Itigidi, Obubra, Obudu, Ogoja, Okpoma and Ugep/Ediba.

In line with this His Excellency has approved the appointment of the following as General Managers of the Underlisted water sub-stations:

(1) Akamkpa Water Board  -  Edwin Asuquo
(2) Calabar Water Board - Barr. Bassey Mensah
(3) Ikom Water Board -  Mr. Joseph Abung
(4) Itigidi Water Board  -  Engr. Bassey Echemi
(5) Obubra Water Board  -        Hon. Kingsley Okpah
(6) Obudu Water Board  -  Mr. Mike Ojie
(7) Ogoja Water Board  - Chief Igbaji Monkom
(8) Okpoma Water Board -  Ogar Emmanuel Ojugbo
(9) Ugep/Ediba Water Board  -  Hon. Osong Etowa

The General Managers are to meet with the Acting Managing Director for briefing on Tuesday, 19th June, 2018 at the Conference Room of the CRS Water Board, Calabar at 10.00am.
