Manchester City Erects A Mosaic In Honour Of Yaya Toure

Yaya Toure Is Honoured As a Legend In Manchester City, His Mosaic Erected On The Etihad Academy Training Pitch
Manchester City has renamed a training pitch after Yaya Toure and also erected a mosaic of him next to it
After 8 years of service to the Manchester City faithful, Ivorian midfielder Yaya Toure has finally decided to call time on his playing career with the club.
Afer 3 Premier league titles, the last coming this season, the former Barcelona star played his last game at the Etihad Stadium last night in the 3-1 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion.

In a bid to immortalise the club legend, the Manchester City hierarchy has decided to rename a training pitch after the lanky box-to-box midfielder.
Also, as revealed by the Chairman of the club, Khaldoon Al Mubarak, a mosaic was also erected next to the pitch that was renamed after him.
Though it might not be bye-bye but see you again for Toure at the Etihad Stadium as he has made known his intention to continue playing in the Engish Premier League (EPL).
As gathered by THE EAGLES VOICE BLOG, the player said: “Yes, because of my family. My kids, for me, are British. They go to school here, they have a lot of friends in Manchester. Manchester is their town.
“I would never celebrate a goal against City. I don’t want to face them, but if I want to stay in the Premier League, I’ll have to.”
