Angry protesters allegedly stone and chase Saraki out of Lafiaji town (PHOTOS)

Senate President, Bukola Saraki was allegedly attacked by a group of protesters in Lafiaji, Edu LGA of Kwara state.

According to Sahara reporters, Saraki was in Lafiaji to pay a visit to Senator Shaaba Lafiaji, a senator representing Kwara Central senatorial district.

The angry youths believe Saraki had come to protect the senator from prosecution after soldiers attached to him killed three Lafiaji youths on November 17th, 2017.

The youths allegedly stoned the Senate president’s Convoy and burnt down a building belonging to Shaaba. Sahara reporters gathered that after meeting with the Emir and some traditional rulers, Saraki proceeded to visit the families of the victims killed by soldiers attached to Mr Lafiaji, an announcement that did not augur well with youths.

According to SR, They quickly mobilized and started pelting the SP’s convoy with stones and pursued him out of the town. Phots below;
