Parents and students in the FCT have commended the Federal Government and Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) for the suspension of the three-month strike.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the strike was suspended on Thursday, Feb. 7, after a conciliatory meeting between ASUU and the Federal Government.

NAN recalls that ASUU embarked on strike on Nov. 4, 2018 to press for revitalisation of universities, payment of academic earned allowances, establishment of Universities Pension Management Company, among others.
Mrs Achonwa Mary, a parent whose child is in the University of Abuja , said she was happy the three months old strike had been suspended .
Mary who is a civil servant, however, appealed to the Federal Government to keep to their promise by meeting the demands of ASUU to avoid further strike action.
“Though I am happy that the strike has been suspended, I have to look for money to send to my son to enable him go back to school.
“Before the strike, I had settled him, including providing for his upkeep, during the strike I had to spend extra money on him; my appeal is for a permanent solution to end these strikes.’’
Mr Sunday Chigozie, a business man in Aco Estate, who has two wards in Nasarawa State University, Keffi, also expressed happiness that the strike had been suspended .
Chigozie said that the suspension of the strike was a relief for both parents and students.
He said that he was particularly happy because many of the students who had been idle during the strike could return to school.

“During the strike I had to engage my two children in my shop, so they do not become idle and engage in social vices.
“I hope this country will not witness this kind of strike again because I believe this government will keep to its promise. ‘’
Mrs Grace Yussuf, a public servant, who also has two children in the university, said she was happy the strike had been suspended, adding that she wished it was called off and not suspended.
Yussuf appealed to the Federal Government to keep to its promise so that the strike would not resume.
“If the education system keeps being disrupted, it is telling on everyone, the parents, students and the whole nation.”
”I think government should prioritise its expenditure by giving priority to key sectors of the economy.
“The world is watching, please this strike should not resurface; government should show commitment and seriousness to meeting the demands even if it is gradual, so we can have a permanent solution to these strikes.’’
Ola Alonge, a 100 level Computer Science student of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, said he was happy the strike had been suspended so he could continue with his studies.
“I am so happy that ASUU has suspended the strike because I just got admission after waiting for four years.
“I pray they will not go on strike again; I appeal to the government to please settle ASUU so that they can focus on teaching the students.
Joceberd Taiwo, a 400 level Human Anatomy student of Federal University of Technology, Akure, commended the Federal Government and ASUU for reaching an agreement to suspend the strike
“This means so much to us as students, we are tired of staying at home.
“ The strike is not good for our education system, it is killing the output we should get as a nation, these strikes do not encourage students, it only discourages us.
“Though I used the period to learn tailoring, which I have added to my knowledge, the truth is that not everybody will learn skills, some might just `party’ or engage in various vices and this will have a negative effect on them.’’

The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prof. Tunde Adeniran, would from Monday act as the de facto national chairman of the SDP, it was learnt on Friday.
The development followed the official resignation of the National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Chief Olu Falae.

A statement by the National Secretary of the party, Alhaji Shehu Musa Gabam, explained: “The National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Chief Olu Falae, GCON, has officially stepped aside from his position. He communicated his decision to the Party on Friday January 8, 2019.

“Chief Falae, a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Minister of Finance, predicated his decision on personal reasons which bordered on his desire to retire from active partisan politics.
“He had earlier indicated his intention to step aside on turning 80 but was prevailed upon to tarry till after the 2018 National Convention of the Party.

“Thereafter, he once again expressed his readiness to quit after the successful Convention, but was made to stay back to steer the Party out of the litigations that emanated from the presidential primaries of the party.
“He was made to understand that as the leader of the party, it was not good for him to leave the Party in the midst of internal squabbles. He therefore stayed back.

“In taking this final decision, he has recommended, in line with the party Constitution, that the Deputy National Chairman (South), Professor Tunde Adeniran, OFR should step in, effective Monday January 11, 2019 as the de facto National Chairman in acting capacity pending ratification at the next National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting and National Convention thereafter.
“Professor Tunde Adeniran, a former Minister of Education and Ambassador to Germany comes with a vast wealth of experience garnered over long years in academia, public service, as a public intellectual and as a political party administrator.
“His coming as National Chairman offers the hope of robustly repositioning the party as a major force in Nigeria’s political arena and as a credible national alternative party.

“He will sustain and build on the great achievement of the former National Chairman while further promoting the core values and ideologies of the party which centre on social justice, equity, human dignity, good governance and well-being of the Nigerian people . “

The Supreme Court’s judgement upholds the rulings of the Court of Appeal and the High Court in Rivers State which earlier dismissed the appeal filed by the Rivers State’s All Progressives Congress’ chairman, Flag Ojukaye, challenging the judgements cancelling the conduct of the party’s primaries.
The Supreme court’s ruling today entails that the the Rivers State APC will not be presenting any candidates for the National Assembly, Governorship and House of Assembly elections beginning Feb. 16th.

On Wednesday, February 6, 2019, the governor of Cross River State, Senator Ben Ayade, presented the 2019 appropriation estimate of N1, 043, 967, 000. 000 to the Cross River House of Assembly.

Tagged, a budget of "Qabalistic Densification", The Governor said that the budget proposal was spiritual and deserves the utmost prayers from Cross Riverians for a successful implementation by the state government.

Ayade who explained that 2018 budget christened, "budget of Kinetic Crystallization", performed extremely well as it's performances stood at 74 percent and that this year's budget of "Qabalistic Densification" which is a magical budget intended to aid the state concentrate it's ideas and ideals into a cumulative action to deliver with escape velocity.

According to the Cross River governor, the budget of Qabalistic Densification is fashioned to address all fundamental thrust of governance, paving way for proper direction and pathway, adding that the 2019 budget focuses on the the Kinetic Crystallization budget, of what was achieved in 2018, asserting that the 2019 budget is ambitious and is driven by the intellectual strength.

He explained that 35 percent of the budget of Qabalistic Densification is dedicated to infrastructure development because the sure way to change the fortunes of Cross River State is by providing production which stands shoulder to shoulder with consumption, with strong emphasis on the core mandate of his administration which is to take Cross River from the third world to the first world within eight years.

According to the governor, most budgets are envelope based, that his is different as intellectual elements are introduced into it as a result of the pecuilar situation of the state where the State is placed 35 out of 36 States in terms of revenue allocation from the federation account, but that when it comes to being the first to pay salaries and pay regularly as well expansion of government, Cross River State is the first and the Best in the country.

"My budget style is different because of our challenges. Currently we spend N1.8billon every month to service debts. In terms of allocation, we are number 35 out of 36 States. But in terms of paying of salaries and expanding the size of government, we are number one in the country".

Ayade who equally disclosed that construction work has begun in full swing at super highway also stated that that the government ambitious programme and budget of Qabalistic Densification aimed at moving the state to a first world political entity can only be realistic if an aggressive industrialization programme of the Local Government Areas of the state with a link to the super highway is deliberately pursued.

"The budget is ambitious but driven by intellectual strength... the only way to change a State is by focussing on the realization of the core mandate of this Government, shifting Cross River State from third world to first world within 8 years. And that can only be achieved by a strategic long term plan and it is to deal effectively with the issue of the active industrialization of every LGA, seeking and connecting into the super highway".

Emphasizing the link between 2018 budget of Kinetic Crystallization and this year's appropriation of Qabalistic Densification, Ayade explained that "Qabalistic Densification focuses on Kinetic Crystallization of what we achieved in 2018. I give you a good example, construction has started in full force on the super highway, and if you are driving as you are approaching Ikom to the left and the right, you can see massive work going on," Ayade stressed.

An intellectually packed and realistic 2019 Cross River State appropriation christened, budget of "Qabalistic Densification", architecturally fashioned and politically Crafted to meet the development needs of the Government in it's ambition to industrialize every LGA in the State as part of conscious effort to fast track the State away from the the third world tag to that of the first world, is N306, 253, 156, 225.30 short of the 2018 budget of"Kinetic Crystallization".

A purely work of intellect to meet the pecuilar financial circumstances of the state, and faithfully hinges on the "I can do" Spirit of the state and it's leadership driven by a consummate academic, business Mogul, politician and an environmental Scientist and inventor of "intellectual money", Ayade, the budget will securely and gradually propel some of the industries and projects at advance stages of completion now to full completions and commissioning, while laying a solid foundation for the other projects and the ones nto be.embark upon between now and 2013.

This budget of Qabalistic Densification will certainly see to the completion of important ongoing projects such as the CALAPHARM, Cocoa Processing Plant, Ikom, Ultramodern Rice Mill, Ogoja,and other industries as well as the.dual carriage way linking the five LGAs of the Northern senatorial district, Boki East-West road, among others.

As the governor requested in his appropriation a speech for prayers by the people for successful implementation of the budget, it imperative that we do so because it is really a magical budget that seeks to accomplish much from very little.

It is based on this premise that this writer is strongly of the view that the budget got it's baptismal name of "Qabalistic Densification"from.

The budget is Qabalistic because it has a magical and mystical powers, with hidden or secret meaning that though may not be known to some but has the potency to serve as a catalyst of aggressive growth and development of the state and it's people now and at long term.

It's magical powers to transform and lead the Government to the realization of it's core mandate is the second part of the budget key word, 'Densification" which is the increase on size or volume of an item, something.

The budget with the high Qabalistic tendencies and potency will surely sprang.a pleasant surprise as it's works will lead to increased industrialization, better living standard for the people, increased money in circulation and in people's pockets, better Health, Education facilities and institutions and standard infrastructure, among others.

Here lies the fulcrum of the audacity behind Ayade's 2019 Budget of "Qabalistic Densification' as a realistic impetus to fast track development of Cross River State

The battle over the  politically manipulated and compromised list of Commissioners of Police announced by the Acting Inspector of General has shifted to the Federal High Court Abuja where the Opposition is seeking an order to quash the compromised posting of Pro APC police Officers as Commissioners of Police especially the appointment of Bola Tinubu's Former CSO (who also worked with Lai Mohammed who was Chief of Staff to Gov Tinubu then) as Commissioner of Police for Kwara State .

The Opposition apart from the suit is mobilising to pass a vote of no confidence on the acting IGP if the compromised postings especially the appointment of Tinubus CSO as Kwara CP are not reversed and neutral officers deployed across all board.

The Nigerian opposition rejects the postings and hereby calls on all opposition members not to recognize the politically manipulated postings. The Nigerian opposition rejects the appointment of Mr. Kayode Egbetokun as the Commissioner of Police Kwara State and all other Villa instigated postings. The Inspector General of Police has disappointed a nation eager to go out peacefully on 16th February to exercise their franchise. The executive Governor of Cross River State Prof Ben Ayade and his political pally and member representing Ogoja/Yala federal constituency in the House of representatives Hon Jarigbe Agom have proven to the teeming youths that background don't determine your destination in life.

In the last three and a half years of the Gov Ben Ayade leadership in the state and MP Jarigbe Agom's stay in the lower chambers of the National Assembly , the duo have maintained a very strong bond of friendship and have maintained a mutual level of respect for each other.

For Honourable Jarigbe Agom, who is extraordinarily down to earth due to his upbringing which is similar to that of Sen Prof, Ben Ayade who's childhood development was characterised by hitches due to the excesses that accompanies growing up in the hills of Obudu.


 Jarigbe and Ayade share a lot of traits in common, top of which is their level of magnanimity towards their people, through them,  the people have witnessed various schemes like massive employment,  educational improvement, quality healthcare amongst other things which have been witnessed all along.

Hon Jarigbe Agom shares a widely visible cordial relationship with the executive governor of the State who is his brother, and this cannot be debatable as the governor has on several occasions deligated responsibilities to him which he delivered excellently well.

Ogoja the ancient city in the Northern Senatorial district of Cross River State witnessed a wild jubilation on Monday following what has been tagged the triumphant entry of the king of boys, Jarigbe Agom whose return to Ogoja from Abuja, this afternoon, herald the commencement of campaign for his re-election in the green chamber of the National Assembly.


The National Assembly elections holds along side the Presidential Polls on February 16, 2019 and the member of parliament is running under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Beyond Jarigbe’s popularity and political sagacity, the support being given the lawmaker by his constituents is believed to have placed him far above other candidates in the race considering the influence and the political acumen of his party men and his political achievements so far.

The popular and influential politician who while driving around the town waved to his admirers who were singing and shouting ‘Jarigbe Oyoyo, to him endlessly.

While addressing a mamoth crowd gathered to celebrate his return with amid drumming and dancing, Jarigbe enjoined constituents to vote enmasse for the candidates of the PDP.

Socio-Cultural Groups, Religious and  Traditional institutions violate the   Constitution when they endorse and force Candidates on Subjects.

Ethnicity and Religion has played a significant role in the voting patterns of the Nigerian electorate. Politicians  sponsor ethnic and religious groups ahead of campaigns. Today, there is a dangerous culture of adopting political candidates often fuelled by Socio-Cultural Groups, religious and  traditional institutions. Wrong political choices foisted on us by opportunistic groups in the name of socio-cultural groups, religious and  traditional institutions is the bane of our National development. Ethnicity and religion has reduced our country, rich in human and natural resources to a country of beggars. These are the sources of corruption that politicians use to manipulate our psyches.

Nigeria’s brand of corruption became bolder and more ravenous right from August 1985 under Babangida, particularly as the ‘politics of settlement’, characterised by political patronage and lavish use of public resources to keep social critics and other opponents of bad public policies in check. Strong pro democracy groups like  G-34 and NADECO were suffocated by sychophants without conscience who sold us to hawks that have continually enslaved us. Political assassinations became an option to silence the voices of patriotic Nigerians.

Corruption in government returned more ferociously when, in November 1993, General Sani Abacha sought to transmute from a military Head of State to a Civilian President. The YEAA campaign, led by Daniel Kanu was birthed to foist Abacha on Nigerians. YEAA placed billboards around the country, publicized advertisements in the media and sponsored editorials to encourage support for Abacha.

The support for the former military leader Sani Abacha culminated in 1998 with what is now famously remembered as the Two-Million-Man March, coordinated by Youth Ernestly Ask for Abacha (YEAA)  and NACYAN.  YEAA proceeded to distribute free exercise books to schools. It had plans to distribute subsidized imported "Abacha Rice" and said  that it had bought two new buses, equipped with speakers and modern communications equipment. According to an interview with Daniel Kanu, the costs of the rally was estimated at 400-500 million Naira, which they claimed were paid for by "patriotic individuals". The march was obviously government-backed and nearly 2.5 billion Naira was spent on it.

 It is worthy of note that Daniel Kanu,  previously branded a politician and philanthropist contested and won the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Primary election for Federal House of Representatives (AMAC and Bwari) in 2002.  His win was annulled by the PDP due to what they claimed were unverifiable certificates and unclear antecedents.

By 1999, G-34 and NADECO that had established themselves after opposing the candidacy of Sani Abacha kicked against Obasanjo's emergence because he was greatly unpopular.  In preparation for the PDP primaries, OBJ gave the party  N130 million to assist the party write off its debts. As a result, he was given the mandate to select all PDP governorship candidates, using money to campaign for them to get nomination and then become governors. The frenzy quickly made Ohaneze Ndigbo and Afenifere to adopt OBJ.

In the 16 years of PDP, there was use of money and brazen impunity in the imposition of candidates. Desperation got to its height especially in the last days of GEJ.  Ohaneze Ndigbo, Afenifere,  CAN, Arewa people's Congress and many other support groups including known terrorist groups like  MEND, IPOB came out openly to endorse GEJ. The National treasury was emptied by Jonathan to feed all manner of groups that endorsed him.

The spray of money turned Christain Association of Nigeria and Penticostal Fellowship of Nigeria into political extensions of PDP. There grew a wave for private jets and individuals were fed fat at the expense of National interest. Tunde Bakare took the stage to condemn this meddling of religious men into politics in his sermon titled “The Sweet And Sour Ministry Of The Prophet”. Bakare said “a prophet is sent to bring change not build consensus,” adding that “ whenever you compromise what is right in order to gain acceptance with men, you lose acceptance with God.”

Some self-seeking Imams and Islamic leaders were not left out as their visits to the Villa attracted same white envelope from Aso Rock ATM as that of Christian leaders. Like the miracle of Atiku spray of dollars in Port Harcourt, financial inducement was institutionalized as a political tool with socio-cultural groups, religious and  traditional institutions positioned to use ethnicity and religion as tools to influence votes. Integrity was sacrificed on the altar of mediocrity and corruption.

Traditional leaders were not left out in the endorsement scramble. The traditional institutions were compromised according to the highest bidder. Local Chiefs became full blown politicians and sometimes over-stepped their boundaries to ostracize their subjects for those  holding a political ideology different from their own pay masters.

In the wave of the change that greeted the President Buhari/Osinbajo administration, things have drastically changed. There is no more spray of dollars, and visits to Aso Rock appear more for business than for white envelopes and gifts of private jets.

Obviously PDP is yet to appreciate the new change. One wonders the recent attempts to divide Nigerians along old, expired lines by the opposition party.  It is this same mentality that guided PDP in their recent demands for inclusion of PDP in the empowerment programs. We are aware that PDP made government only for PDP members.  Therefore, all socio-cultural groups, religious and  traditional institutions were expected to support PDP to enjoy benefits like Sure-P, You-Win, contracts etc.

In response to emerging cries by PDP over the Trader Moni Social investments Program, PDP especially should know that Trader Moni like other Buhari's programs like N-Power,  Housing Scheme, employment opportunities, CBN Anchor Borrowers Program, Bail out funds for States, School Feeding Program etc are not for APC members alone as the ruling party or PDP as opposition party but for all Nigerians, not withstanding political affiliations.

It is worth knowing that any attempt to deprive any Nigerian of any benefit based on political affiliations violates  the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 and is actionable in court.  Section 40 of the Constitution provides as follows: Every person shall be entitled to assemble freely and associate with other persons, and in particular, he may form or belong to any political party, trade union or any association for the protection of his interests.

As Nigerians enter into electioneering period, the electorate are advised to vote not according to the dictates of some socio-cultural groups, religious and  traditional institutions that have constantly manipulated our psyches for their self enrichment. It is time to define our future not by the amount of money given to some selected individuals or the lies told us by some individuals that short-change and pretend to represent us in the guise of  socio-cultural groups, religious and  traditional institutions.

We are free individuals and responsible for any political  choice(s) we make.  No one has the right to coerce our decision. Nigerians should be allowed to vote  whoever they want, mindful that there is a repercussion for our actions and history will always be our judge.

The PDP presidential candidate, Abubakar Atiku, ( Turakin Adamawa) has revealed his intention to restore local government autonomy by scrapping the joint account system and make sure that hunger ends in Nigeria if elected in 2019 .

Atiku made the pledge before a large crowd of supporters during the Kebbi PDP presidential campaign rally yesterday in Birnin Kebbi , Kebbi State , saying he will stop the current joint account system where the governors control local government money from the federation account .

“ I will stop state governors from tampering with local government funds from the federation account . I will make sure that all local government areas in Nigeria get their money directly and not through the state governments , ” he said .

The PDP presidential fag- bearer told the mammoth crowd in Kebbi that he will make food easily available to Nigerians and end poverty if the party succeeded in coming back to power in 2019 .

According to him , “ If you vote PDP in 2019 , I will end hunger , insecurity and provide decent jobs to our youths. I will empower our youths and women through skill acquisition and small businesses . ”

He urged Kebbi people to vote for the entire PDP candidates .

Earlier in his remarks , the PDP national chairman , Mr Uche Secondus , accused INEC of planning to rig the 2019 election with the ruling APC , even as he warned the INEC chairman to conduct free and fair election in 2019 .

‘’ I warn INEC chairman not to rig our election, APC has submitted list to them. We are also aware that some of the lecturers they will use are members of APC, ’’ he stated.

The chairman of Delta State Council of Traditional Rulers and the Obi of Owa Kingdom, HRM, Efeizomor Emmanuel has called on Delta people to vote Alhaji Abubakar Atiku and Peter Obi in the February 19 election.

He said this during the PDP campaign in Asaba, Delta State.

Enumerating the numerous qualities why the duo are good for the job, he said that the people of Delta State, being Anambra neighbours were aware of the great leadership Peter Obi provided when he was the Governor of Anambra state.

According to him, the way Obi approaches leadership makes him fit for higher responsibilities.

I am moved to tears that in the midst of deep divisions and deliberate use of instrumentalities of state to set our people against themselves in the last three and a half years, responsible and respected leaders across Nigeria have agreed to come together for the purpose of endorsing my candidature for the February 16th,2019 Presidential elections.

The endorsement by the leading lights of our nationalities – Afenifere, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Northern Elders Forum, Pan-Niger Delta Forum and Middle Belt Forum is a loud statement that there is hope for our country as we go to the polls in a few days.

Today we put aside all our prejudices to elect a President with religion and ethnicity playing no role in our elections .

I profusely thank our Leaders across the country who have created this wonderful moment for
us to come to the table of brotherhood. Once again, and in the words of our old National Anthem, we can proudly sing: "Though tribes and tongues may differ, in brotherhood we stand"

This has buoyed me to lead a Pan-Nigerian team that will give practical interpretation to what has been done by the time I take leadership of our country, by the grace of Allah, on May 29, 2019.

Many countries of the world have been led into disintegration by strongmen (one in each country) and we have seen how individuals who understand the management of diversities have rallied their people for unity.

I have been chosen to unite our people and exactly that I will.

I will run a properly federated Nigeria through constitutional reforms to bring out the best from ALL sections of Nigeria to make Nigeria work again like in the past when the Saudi Royal family came to Nigeria to access Medicare.

We will promote an inclusive Nigeria based on productivity that every section of Nigeria will bring out the best under their soil, and in their brain to make Nigeria assume its position in Africa and the global community .

It would be 100% for every section of Nigeria as I would not understand any arithmetic outside that.

I enjoin our people across Nigeria to come out en-mass to vote on February 16 to pull our country from the brink and propel it to greater heights so we can live a better life.

Take my words as a covenant with Nigeria.

Very recently, the Presidential candidate of the APC in the 2019 general elections, General Muhammadu Buhari (RTD), flagged off the Kano State version of his Presidential campaigns, and Nigerians witnessed very high influx of Niger Republic citizens into Kano City, the venue of the event for the program.

They came in their thousands, led by two serving State governors in their country. There was an unusually high traffic between Katsina and Kano State as early as 8am on that fateful day, courtesy of the mass movement from Maradi in Niger Republic to Kano City

They were in Kano to be part of, and to show their support for the presidential ambition of President Muhammadu Buhari, one of the many Nigerians contesting for the presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for another tranche of four years, beginning 29th May, 2019.

To this I said to myself; What an uncommon show of love. What an unprecedented support for a presidential candidate of a sovereign nation by citizens of another sovereign nation, a thing never heard of in the history of the world.

I also wondered, if there is a place for this development in the laws of our land or in international law. Unfortunately I am  not of the learned profession to know much of this, but I find it very strange and painfully disturbing that I find it expedient to ask some pertinent questions, bothering on not just the propriety or otherwise of the action, but also its legality and implication for our dear nation:

(1) Firstly, how is it the business  of the people of Niger Republic who becomes the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria?
As the learned people would say, "what is their nexus in this matter?" Why are the people of Niger Republic interested only in Buhari's Presidency?
Why not any of the other presidential candidates?
Could there be any pack between the people of Niger Republic and Muhammadu Buhari that Nigerians are not in the know of?

(2) Would this action not amount to interference in the affairs of a sovereign   Nigeria, to have citizens of Niger Republic make the election of a Nigerian President their business, to the extent of participating in the process of making the Nigerian President in 2019?

(3) Assuming a David Cameron, the former British Primes Mister for instance, was sited somewhere in a Nigerian town where an Atiku Campaign is holding, what would be the reaction of the Buhari Presidency? This reference has become expedient,, given that when the man (David Cameron) made a simple statement of caution to the Buhari Presidency over the suspension of the CJN, the Federal government and the APC attacked the counsel as "foreign interference" in Nigerian domestic affairs". How different are the two?

(4) How did these multitude of people come into Nigeria in one swoop?
Did they come through the border?
Did they all have the requisite documents and followed the right channel?

(5) Did they return to Niger Republic after the program or they are still in Nigeria?

(6) Given that political Rallies are meant for members of the political party (s) concerned. I note that the two Niger Republic governors who led the delegation of their country's Citizens to the event in Kano, adorned themselves in APC outfits and regalia, signifying membership of the APC, a political party in Nigeria:
Are the Niger Republic governors members of the APC, and like the APC governors in Nigeria
Would  canvass support for President Muhammadu Buhari in their respective States in Niger Republic?
Could there possibly be an arrangement for Buhari's supporters from Niger Republic to vote in the 2019 Presidential election (holding in Nigeria)?
Could Nationals of Niger Republic be part of the Six Million PVC holders declared in Katsina State?

Would they have come all the way from Niger Republic to support just the rally and not to vote in the election?

If that number of foreigners can come into Nigeria through a Nigerian border freely in one day, it means anything, just anything including getting Nigerian PVCs is possible, and voting in a Nigerian presidential election would certainly not be a problem.

For me, it portends great danger for the country to have citizens nurse the kinds of feeling that I nurse over the issue, particularly that I also feel helpless.

When I see that circumstances as grievous as this deployment do not elicit outright disapproval of fellow citizens, particularly those in positions of power. I begin to check whether something is wrong with me, that I seem the only one feeling the weight of the ignoble action.

Why does every wrong thing seem to become right if it is perpetuated by Buhari?

I am so pained that a t this juncture, I can feel A'isha pain, when she shouted at an APC public function; "WHERE ARE THE NIGERIAN MEN? INSTEAD OF STANDING UP TO THEM, YOU GO TO THEM ONE BY ONE LICKING THEIR SHOES".
