AFCON: Amuneke urges Rohr to use creative players.

AFCON: Amuneke urges Rohr to use creative players

By Eje peter
FIFA Technical Study Group member, Emmanuel Amuneke, has urged Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr to inject more creative midfielders in the team ahead of their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Seychelles.
The Eagles failed to make it out of the group stages of the World Cup for the third time in six appearances at the FIFA World Cup and Amuneke who is in the five-man FIFA Technical Study group revealed that the team missed out due to little details.
Nigeria lost 2-0 to Croatia in their opening game but bounced back to beat Iceland to boost their chances of qualifying for the next round, that was truncated by their 2-1 loss to Argentina.
“It was a good try. We were close, yet still far off,” Amuneke told CSN.
“We have seen some lapses and must correct them and inject fresh ideas to compete well against other teams that set up their team to nullify our threats.
“There were lots of positives from the tournament on the part of the Super Eagles which they must build on just like the creative aspect and the attack.”

Nigerian traders flee Anglophone Cameroon

Nigerian traders flee Anglophone Cameroon

Agency report /Eje Peter

The security crisis ravaging the English-speaking regions of Cameroon is driving away many of the biggest traders originally from neighbouring Nigeria who have traditionally run key markets in towns around the regions, a report by Quartz Africa said.
The crisis, which started as a modest industrial strike action by English-speaking lawyers and teachers against the imposition of French, has spiralled into an unprecedented internal armed conflict. There are fears the country could slide into civil war as the conflict persists. In recent months, frequent clashes between government forces and separatists seeking to establish a state they would call ‘Ambazonia’ has left scores of civilians dead, including women and children.
The recurrent deadly confrontations have provoked mass movement of people.
The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs estimates that no fewer than 160,000 people have been internally displaced, while a further over 21,000 have crossed to next door Nigeria as refugees.
In a bid to express dissent activists have instituted a civil disobedience action called “ghost town”; which grounds daily activities every Monday, with extensions to some other key days. Traders who spoke to Quartz see the operation as economically damaging as at least one full business day is lost each week since late 2016. Those who dare defy the order risk facing the wrath of unknown arsonists who have burned down shops in nearby towns.
Restrictions of the movement of people and goods have further worsened the already deteriorating situation for businessmen. Armed secessionists called “Amba Boys” mount intermittent road blocks on-and-off along major highways in the troubled area. The government has also had to officially close its western borders with Nigeria on at least two occasions, while dusk to dawn curfews instituted by some local administrative authorities have simply helped to worsen the precarious situation.
The conflict has also been marked by the disruption of essential utility services, especially the supply of electricity and network interruptions to telecommunication services. Internet services were cut off for 136 days between October 2017 and February this year.

Breaking: S-Court upholds Saraki’s appeal, quashes charges against him

By Ikechukwu Nnochiri
ABUJA – The Supreme Court, on Friday, quashed the assets falsification charge the Federal Government preferred against the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, before the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT.
Saraki
The apex court, in a unanimous decision by a five-man panel of Justices, vacated the Court of Appeal judgement that ordered Saraki to enter his defence to three out of the 18-count corruption charge FG entered against him.
It relied on section 302 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, ACJA, 2015, and discharged the embattled Senate President of all the allegations against him.
While upholding Saraki’s appeal, the apex court panel held that the Court of Appeal committed “judicial equivalent of forensic somersault” by ordering the appellant to open his defence to the criminal charge, even after it noted that all material evidence the prosecution adduced before the CCT amounted to hearsay evidence.
Justice Centus Nweze who delivered the lead judgment, wondered why the lower court, having held that totality of the proof of evidence were inadmissible, turned round to order the appellant to defend three counts in the charge, based on the same evidence.
It held that FG could not have established a prima-facie case against the appellant on the basis of hearsay and inadmissible proof of evidence.
Besides, the apex court panel held that the lower court was right when it observed that FG failed to produce witnesses that had direct knowledge of facts of the case.
“When evidence lacks probative value, it cannot be relied upon”, the court held.
In a second verdict, the apex court panel dismissed a Cross-Appeal FG filed to challenge the decision of the Court of Appeal to quash 15 out of the 18-count allegation against Saraki.
It will be recalled that a three-man panel of Justices of the Court of Appeal led by Justice Tinuade Akomolafe-Wilson, dismissed 15 counts of the charge on the premise that they were not supported with credible evidence capable of warranting the Respondent (Saraki) to be called upon to enter his defence to them.
The appellate court panel directed Saraki to return to the tribunal to defend counts 4, 5 and 6 of the amended charge.
Whereas count 4 and 5 of the charge alleged that the Senate President made false declaration of his assets at the end of his tenure as Executive Governor of Kwara State in 2011 and on assumption of office as a Senator in 2011, when he declared that he acquired properties at No. 17A and No. 17B McDonald, Ikoyi Lagos on September 6, 2006, from the proceeds of sale of rice and sugar.
In count-6, FG alleged that the defendant made false declaration of his assets at the end of his tenure as Governor of Kwara state, when he failed to declare his outstanding loan liabilities of N315, 054, 355.92 out of the loan of N380, 000, 000 he obtained from Guaranty Trust Bank Plc.
However, Saraki, who had since closed his defence before the CCT inline with the judgment of the appellate court, prayed the Supreme Court to set aside the Court of Appeal judgment and reinstate the June 14, 2017, verdict of the Mr. Danladi Umar-led CCT panel that discharged and acquitted him of all the allegations FG levelled against him
Saraki, through his team of lawyers led by a former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Chief Kanu Agabi, SAN, maintained that the decision of the appellate court with respect to the three charges against him, amounted to a miscarriage of justice.
More details soon.

George is a burden bearer who believes people are created for the purpose of giving ~ Mr Peter Lawyer Agi

Mr Peter Lawyer Agi drum's support for Yala 1 constituency hopeful Mr George Ogonyi.

George has exhibited an excellent display of strength in character. His amiable personality is shown conspicuously in his humanitarian disposition. As a private individual, George is a burden bearer who believes people are created for the purpose of giving.

We have grown together to realize that our people need vibrant youths with strong leadership ability to represent them. George has always believed that If you have a strong purpose in life, you don't have to be pushed.

Your passion will drive you there. His life's purpose is to lead and bring an intellectually compassionate leadership frame that should redefine humanity. His passion is premised on selflessness and devoid of egocentrism. As a private person in private business, George has created more leaders than followers. Great leaders create more leaders, not followers. All future leaders now have a reason to follow him. In life we don't follow the crowd we let the crowd follow us. George is unique and has the crowd to follow him and enjoy the benefits of the capacity of leadership he is endowed with. Good people see the good and bring out the best in other people. Let's see the good in George and then encourage him particularly now.

Great leaders can see the greatness in others when they can’t see it themselves and lead them to their highest potential they don’t even know. We have seen a lot of potentials in George. Let's support this man.

One of the best ways to influence people is to make them feel important. George has helped a lot to discover their potentials in life. A lot of times inconveniencing himself to bring about joy for a brother. No wonder his place is the rallying point for Yala people in Abuja.
What an incredibly inspiring leader!!!

" Power isn’t control at all — power is strength, and giving that strength to others. A leader isn’t someone who forces others to make him stronger; a leader is someone willing to give his strength to others that they may have the strength to stand on their own. That's who George is. Oh, if only you have personal knowledge of this viable man who possesses frugality, gentleness and humility!!!!

All we want is someone who will inspire us to be what we know we could be."Ralph Waldo Emerson. George is that special person to make our dream come true.

George, please shine your light and make a positive impact on the Yala Nation; there is nothing so honorable as helping improve the lives of others. May God strengthen you to continue affecting humanity positively come 2019. Let's all support George Ogonyi.

Macron’s visit to Nigeria will boost inbound tourism, say stakeholders

Lagos – Some tourism stakeholders on Monday said that the planned visit by President Emmanuel Macron of France to the African Shrine in Lagos would further boost inbound tourism in the country.
President Muhammadu Buhari with French President, Emmanuel Macron at the closing ceremony of the 31st Session of the Africa Union Summit today in Nouakchott, Islamic Republic of Mauritania. #AUsummit
They said in separate interviews in Lagos that it would also boost the positive image of the country’s culture, music and arts before the outside world.
Mr Ikechi Uko, the founder of AKWAABA Travel Tourism Market said to have a president of a country like France that can attract lots of visitors to Africa would place the African Shrine on a global map.
He said it was a massive move for Lagos State as the visit would be covered by French media and some other international media organisations and wire agencies.
” It is a good development for Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole because we are going to experience a boost in inbound tourism.”?
He expressed excitement that most tourists were beginning to reinforce and confirm Nigeria’s position as the entertainment capital of Africa.
He said before now, tourists visited the country due to oil, banking and business purposes.
They had now begun to show interests in Nigeria’s culture which is a testimony of how far the nation had gone.
” Lagos State must be commended for all the facelifts within the state, the murals, statues and all, Lagos is already on the path to greatness,” he said.
Also, Mr Adeniyi Ologun, another stakeholders in the hospitality sector, said that President Macron’s proposed visit would give Nigeria more recognition in African music, arts and culture
Ologun is the the Executive Secretary of the Hotel and Personnel Services Employers’ Association of Nigeria (HOPESEA).
He said that there should be hope of some musical collaborations coming up between Nigerian musicians and those from France.
” For the French President to deem it fit to visit Fela Shrine, it means that he has some regards for Nigerian culture and music industry.
“We congratulate the Lagos State Government and the family of Late Fela Anikulapo and we wish them a successful hosting.
“We hope this will be the beginning of new outburst of musical collaborations between Nigeria and France,” he said.
Mr Bankole Bernard, President, National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies (NANTA) said President Macron’s planned visit was an initiative of the Lagos State Government.
Bernard added that it would showcase the state’s art galleries, culture and entertainment to the rest of the world.
Bernard said that the Lagos State’s film industry was growing rapidly so it was trying to ensure investments and fresh ideas come to the sector.
He said this would be an eye opener for Nigerians to appreciate the potential in their culture, music and arts.
” For the first time, Lagos State is taking tourism to another level which is the vision of the government and I quite applause the state governor for that.
” This will help Nigerians to appreciate what they have.
“It will also help to minimise the rate at which they travel for leisure abroad because they can see that President Macron values what we disrespect which is our culture, ” he said.,
He urged other state governments to take a clue from this rather than waiting for monthly subventions from the Federal Government to groom their tourism sector.
He also called on the Federal Government to stop paying lip service to tourism development in the country.

Gains of Macron’s historic state visit to Nigeria

Jide Ojo

All our visitors make us happy . Some , when they come , others when they g o
French President , Emmanuel Macron , is here with us on a two- day state visit. In his itinerary is a bilateral meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on issues bordering on insecurity , terrorism , commissioning of Alliance Francaise office in Ikoyi and visit to Afrika Shrine in Ikeja , Lagos . I was on Radio Nigeria 7 am news yesterday to analyse the importance and gains of the French President ’ s visit, beginning with his intention to discuss insurgency and insecurity with Buhari .
In my opinion , this is a welcome development. Terrorism has become a global phenomenon , which France had also tasted bitterly . It would be recalled that between January 7 and 9 , 2015 a total of 17 people were killed in terror attacks ignited by a publication in the French satirical weekly magazine, Charlie Hebdo ; a kosher grocery store and the Paris suburb of Montrouge . Three suspects in the attacks were killed by police in separate standoffs, according to Cable News Network . Nigeria has also been having a running battle with insurgents , killer herders and other bandits . Therefore, it is going to be mutually beneficial to share intelligence and work collaboratively to tackle this hydra - headed monster , which was part of the issues discussed at the just concluded 31 Ordinary Summit of the Africa Union held at Nouakchott, Mauritania over the weekend . Nigeria also stands to gain military assistance in the form of capacity building for our security agencies , as well as military hardware support from the French Government.
The commissioning of a new complex of the French cultural organisation , Alliance Francaise, today in Lagos is also very significant . According to news reports, Alliance Française is a non - profit making association devoted to promoting French language and culture. It has 10 active representations in Enugu , Ibadan , Ilorin , Jos , Kano , Kaduna , Lagos , Maiduguri , Owerri and Port Harcourt . The organisation has three broad objectives ; namely , teaching of French worldwide with classes for all types of audiences , making French culture and the culture of French speaking countries better known , as well as fostering cultural diversity through the promotion of all cultures . The French language is very popular in Nigeria , although we are an Anglophone country . The language is being taught in the country from primary school to tertiary level . In fact, Nigeria has a French Language Village in Badagry , Lagos , which was established in 1991 when Prof . Babatunde Fafunwa was minister of education . It was meant to promote the study of the French Language in Nigeria .
Out of the three reasons made available to the public for Macron ’ s visit, the most significant one to me is his historic visit to Afrika Shrine yesterday, July 3 , 2018. The incumbent French President , who trained in Nigeria as a Senior Civil Servant in 2004 , must has been so enamoured of Fela Anikulapo -Kuti ’ s Afrobeat music that he has ordered a visit to his nightclub as part of his itinerary . This visit is historic in many respects . First , Macron is the first foreign President to officially visit the Afrika Shrine . This is a huge endorsement for the club - house founded by Fela . The norm used to be that when special guests visit Nigeria , a gala night is often organised in their honour . Such a treat usually takes place inside the fortified Aso Villa Banquet Hall where selected cultural troupes in the country are engaged to entertain the guests . In a rare twist of fortune , Macron has opted to go see the unique cultural institution called Afrika Shrine himself .
Macron ’ s visit has placed the Shrine on the global map , considering the number of international media and dignitaries who accompanied the French President to the place. That visit has also boosted the tourism potential of Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole . It shows that this country has something to offer the world , in terms of entertainment , culture, music , dance and art .
I am using this medium to appreciate and seek a posthumous national award for Fela Anikulapo - Kuti ( 15 October 1938 – 2 August 1997) , Nigeria ’ s maverick music icon . In his lifetime Fela , was reportedly more popular than the Nigerian President , especially in France . He was to Nigeria what Bob Marley was to Jamaica . While Marley promoted reggae music , Fela created afro beat , his own unique selling point . The ‘ Abami Eda ’ used his talent to fight oppression , human right abuses and injustices . Fela was fearless . He was a thorn in the flesh of the misgoverning ruling elite , who took turns to incarcerate him on many occasions . I was surprised to hear Fela ’ s music being played at a big music shop in Geneva , Switzerland during my visit there in 2005. In my undergraduate days at the University of Lagos , Fela ’ s music was always used to kick start any major event organised by the Student Union of the institution , especially protest marches . Te celebrated musician released about 50 albums in his illustrious music career that spanned decades. While many of his songs can be tagged protest songs , he also sang about love, social ills and the likes . Songs like Lady , Shakara , Yellow Fever , Open and Close , Na Poi and Water no get enemy are in this category .
Fela ’ s music has continued to be relevant because , like a prophet , the social ills he saw and sang about decades ago are still with us today and things seems to be getting worse . I appreciate the fact that this music legend is being annually celebrated in music concert known as Felabration . It is also heartwarming that the Lagos State government has turned his house in Lagos to a museum . Two of his children, Femi and Seun , have also carried on their dad ’ s legacy and making waves with Afro Beat music . Femi in particular has had four Grammy award nominations and I pray he will win it one day soon .
Now , the challenge for Nigeria is to build on the positive fallout of Macron ’ s visit. I propose that the place should be turned into a national monument, a UNESCO heritage site . This is because of its symbolism and identity as the root of afro beat music . I commend the yeo- man efforts of the Director - General of the National Council for Arts and Culture , Otunba Segun Runsewe and his counterpart at the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation, Mr . Folorunsho Coker , to market Nigeria ’ s tourism potentials . However , there is a snag .
Until we contain the raging insecurity in the country , all efforts to attract inbound tourists to Nigeria will yield very little results . Foreigners will not risk their lives coming into an unsecure environment . That is why what is going on in Plateau State calls for concern . The tourism and hospitality business in that state has been badly affected by the lingering conflict in that ‘ State of Tourism ’ the same way as food insecurity looms in the country as a result of the protracted Boko Haram insurgency and the attacks by killer herdsmen ravaging the country ’ s major food producing states . A stich in time saves nine .

Emmanuel Macron’s visit confirms Afrikan Shrine is the place to be – Femi Kuti

Ahead of French President, Emmanuel Macron’s visit to the New Afrikan Shrine today, as part of activities to mark the launch of the 2020 Season of African Cultures in France, afro-beat maverick, Femi Kuti, has declared that Macron’s visit to the New Afrikan Shrine confirms the popular fun spot as the best fun place to be.
French President Emmanuel Macron (2ndL) poses with Nigerian musician Femi Kuti (L) and Senegalese singer Youssou N’dour (2ndR) at the Afrika Shrine in Lagos on July 3, 2018.
In an interview Femi, who confessed that the news of President Macron’s decision to visit the New Afrikan Shrine came to him as a shock because it caught him unawares.
“It caught us completely unawares but we’re very happy, we’re very delighted. It’s a big political, cultural statement and I think it practically closes the case that the New Afrikan Shrine is the place to be. We’re very authentic, original; we’ve kept the integrity of the African heritage, my father’s legacy. I think it’s probably the biggest cultural center on the African continent now where we give free music, talking about political issues for free and to the best of our abilities. If we did have the funds, can you imagine what would come out of the shrine? So for Macron to decide on coming to the shrine, I’m sure he must have heard a lot about my father, his dreams or the shrine. I’ll believe he’s enthusiastic, he feels the vibration that comes out of the shrine. I hope it’s not a one-off thing where he comes and goes. I don’t even believe that. I hope we all feel this political statement and hope things would probably begin to change positively for the better”, he said.
He added that hopefully, President Macron’s visit would kick-start positive infrastructural developments for Nigeria.
“What I want to see here in Nigeria is the kind of infrastructures I see in Europe, in America. Can’t we have a railway line from Lagos to Johannesburg? We need the kind of trains that fly 370kph. Imagine we have such in Africa, this place would be so beautiful, it would be a big party every day. Macro has probably heard some of my political statements and hopefully this is a chance to make this statement more vibrant and echo more around the corners of the world. I know there are many Africans that think the way I think, so we should now begin to divert our energy in this direction because this is our time”, he said.
Tracing his historical relationship with France, Femi noted he has a long history with the French.
“Even before President Macron, President Jacques Chiraq loved my father. The French have been so supportive of my father, of me and the shrine. They used to come to the shrine in those days. At the beginning of my career, they made it a priority; everything was happening for me in France. France was the first country to accept my talent. I’m still in France, I’m quite popular there, and I’m like their own. My love with the French and their love with me is public knowledge.
Speaking further, he commended Lagos State Government’s involvement in the epoch-making event.
“It’s a state visit; the shrine cannot handle an event of this magnitude alone. The Lagos State Government has been very supportive. The government understands the gravity of such a visit. If this visit truly materializes into all I’ve spoken about, can you imagine the prospects it spells for this country? We’ll start to establish foundations for meaningful development, infrastructures without corruption, with integrity for the future of this continent. I think this is probably the first step in that direction. Someone like me would definitely capitalize on it by working towards this goal and I hope people who have the same idea like me would all work together with me in this respect.

CONCERN CITIZEN WRITE BUHARI ON STATEMENT CREDITED TO HIS MEDIA AID.

Dear President Muhammadu Buhari,
Aso Villa-FCT,
Abuja.

I read with utter shock and amazement a statement credited to your Chief Spokesman Femi Adesina where he said and i quote, "Giving land for ranching and cattle colonies better than death".

Chief Femi Adesina who was a guest on African Independent Television (AIT) further said that people own lands only when they are alive so ancestral attachments should be discouraged, hence lands should be given out for colony and grazing reserves to avoid death".

Sequel to the above, i want to remind you that in Cross River State, we already have a cattle ranch with state of the art facilities in Obudu. The Obudu Cattle Ranch now known as Obudu Mountain Resort is one of the most beautiful and pleasant tourist centers in Nigeria. It is located on the Obudu Plateau, close to the Cameroon border, in the Northeastern part of Cross Rivers State. It has grown to become a major destination choice for tourists. It has an attractive landscape and calming ambience, with clouds smiling down on its peaks and valleys. It offers visitors a good blend of warm and cold temperature, as it has a very temperate weather.

Mr President, un-behalf of the good people of Cross River State under the leadership of His Excellency, Senator (Prof) Ayade Benedict, i want to humbly appeal that you excuse us   from the government ranching and cattle colony propaganda since we already have a cattle ranch.

Thank you your Excellency.

I am Ogar Solomon Ogar
CEO, Solomon Island,

TODAY AT THE FLOOR OF THE SENATE, SENATOR ROSE OKO MOVED A MOTION ON THE ARMED CONFLICTS BETWEEN THE BOUNDARY COMMUNITIES OF EBONYI AND CROSS RIVER STATE.

THE SENATE

Notes the outbreak of armed conflicts between the Izzis of Ebonyi State and the Ukelles of Yala, Cross River State on 18th June, 2018

Also Notes that part of the Izzis of Ebonyi State had settled in Ukelle, Cross
River state for decades. However, sometime in the late 1990's - 2000 they
chose to reconnect with the Izzis in Ebonyi state along with the land that they
settled in

Further Notes that the settlers had paid land rents for farming activities to
Chiefs and Leaders of Ukelle from the 1960's - 1990's

Worried that from about the year 2000, rents to the landlords were stopped by
the settlers, a situation which snowballed into a war in 2005

Notes that Cross River state had been paying staff of three (3) primary schools
and one (1) secondary school located within the Izzis settler communities, viz:

St. Justine primary school, Akumeyi.

Community primary school, Ndiagwu.

Community primary school, Ndukwe.

Community secondary school, Akumeyi

Alarmed that the teachers in these schools have been chased out of the
schools, the schools closed and taken over by Ebonyi state since 6 June, 2018

Further Notes that the primary bone of contention is that while the Ukelles claim
that the boundary between Cross River state and Ebonyi state is at Ndiakparata,
the Izzis claim that it is at Mfuma river.

Worried that the present conflict has resulted in a reported death, displacement of persons and the destruction of several properties

Is Aware of ongoing peace talks between the two state governments and the
deployment of troops to keep the peace

The Senate Accordingly resolved to:

1. Mandate the National Boundaries Commission to urgently delineate/ reinstate the boundary between Cross River state and Ebonyi state

2. Call on the Cross River  Ebonyi State Governments to continue

with a peaceful resolution of the conflict

3. Call on the Federal Government to continue to maintain military

presence in the conflict zones until resolutions are made

4. Mandate the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to

send relief materials to affected communities on both sides

THE DICHOTOMIES BETWEEN SEN. ROSE OKOJI OKO AND CHIEF JUDE OGBECHE NGAJI AND THE CHOICE BEFORE THE GOOD PEOPLE OF CROSS RIVER NORTH SENATORIAL DISTRICT COMES 2019.

THE DICHOTOMIES BETWEEN SEN.  ROSE OKOJI OKO AND CHIEF JUDE OGBECHE NGAJI AND THE CHOICE BEFORE THE GOOD PEOPLE OF CROSS RIVER NORTH SENATORIAL DISTRICT COMES 2019.

AN ELUCIDATION

BY:

AN ABUJA BASED GENUINE SOCIAL CHANGE AGENT (GODSMAN OGAR).

It is worthy of note that Mistakes in Human Societies are inevitable, but repeated Mistakes is Tantamount to Idiosyncrasy because Mistakes in itself provides a platform for Learning.

There is no debating the fact that our Society had been eroded  with abject poverty and underdevelopment over the years,  sequel to leadership failure, dastardy, abysmal dismal representation and hoggishness across political stratum.

It is on this nota bene (Latin) that, it is quite pertinent to assess the personalities of all persons negotiating for our communal mandates as we approach 2019 general elections in Nigeria.

Now, looking at Sen. Rose Okoji Oko verses Jude Ogbeche Ngaji, the following are the unbiased distinctions standing between the duo, seeking for the mandate of the good people of Cross River North senatorial district comes 2019:

1. The former is an outgoing Senator while the latter is an incoming Senator.

2. Sen. Rose Oko takes delights in affording a befitting burial to her supporters/constituents while Chief Jude Ogbeche Ngaji is delights in empowering his supporters/constituents to live a befitting life.

3. The former preferred buying a Custom seized Tokumbo Car for a Clergyman who already have more than 4 Cars 🚗 🚗 🚗 🚗  to his name as against her PAs/ Ades Who are still struggling everyday at the bus stop to board a moluwe bus to work at the National Assembly with Sen. Rose Oko, while Chief Jude Ogbeche Ngaji  preferred to give a Car gift to an Old Trader who had been dreaming of owning a car of her own all her life, Jude Ngaji just made that dream a reality.

4. Jude Ogbeche Ngaji, despite not been an Elected Representative of the People yet, has a very Functional Foundation (Ikaba Foundation) touching lives of People from different works of life, providing Medical outreach, Educational Scholarships to Students, Sporting activities etcetera, while Sen. Rose Oko despite being at the corridor of power for over 30 years, has no single Functional Foundation or Platform anywhere in the World through which she can give back to her Society. Pure wickedness, one may said!

5. Sen. Rose Oko's Children / Igbo In-laws, are all driving their Choice Cars like Range Rover Sport, G-wagon, Tundra etc while her Supporters are still waiting endlessly for the date the President of the Senate, Sen.  Bukola Saraki will visit Yala, the home of Sen. Rose Oko to commission KekeNapep before she can distribute these Kekenapep that have been packed for over 2years to her Supporters as a gimmick to win the hearts of my gullible Brothers and Sisters who are unteachable and can never learn from the mistakes of their past. Whereas, within the past 2 years, over 10 of our Women and Youth have benefited exotic Cars gifts from Chief Jude Ogbeche Ngaji.

6. Chief Jude Ogbeche Ngaji is Generous and Meek while Sen. Rose Okoji Mugabe  is Greedy and Wicked.

7. Sen. Rose Okoji Oko is old and has attained her political menopause, while Chief Jude Ogbeche Ngaji is Young, Vibrant, Enterprise Innovative, Calculative and Dogged.

On this note, it is Crystal clear that the Choice before the good people of Cross River North is the Choice to go forward with Chief Jude Ogbeche Ngaji and the Choice to go backward  with Mama Orji, Sen.  Rose Okoji Mugabe.

The Choice is yours!

THE_WEAK_AND_INCOMPETENT_GOODLUCK_JONATHAN

#THE_WEAK_AND_INCOMPETENT_GOODLUCK_JONATHAN

- He was weak because he embraced the "POWER OF LOVE" over the "LOVE OF POWER"

I have NEVER seen a man so insulted in his life YET so loved. 2 years gone and the North has called him names, the South West has called him names; the South East has called him names even his brothers have bashed him, YET he remains the light that was at the end of a very dark tunnel. I have never seen a leader who preferred the "POWER OF LOVE" to the "LOVE OF POWER". I have never seen a calmer and humble man like this "weak" JONATHAN. Like David tending to his flocks in the bush, GEJ was tending to students in the classroom and then he was approached to get his 2 passports. Grace had found him as he was picked to become a deputy governor without a godfather or political background or friends. From there is history..................... The weak and incompetent man climbed to the number one spot even in the midst of STRONG AND COMPETENT MEN.

SOME OF HIS QUOTES REALLY SHOWED HOW WEAK HE WAS.

1) Only a weak man will say "My political ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian" strong men will say "When I lose the election, the dogs and baboons will be soaked in their blood".

2) Only a weak man after being insulted by other regions will say "We are not sworn enemies… We are neighbours who sometimes offend each other, but can always sit down to talk over our differences". Strong men will send crocodile tears, and python dance to the regions to kill innocent people.

3) GEJ was weak, only a weak man would say "Nobody should rig for me. I am assuring Nigerians that though I am contesting, nobody must manipulate votes in my favour. Our votes must count, one man one vote, one woman one vote, one youth, one vote" Strong men just write results in Aso Rock and damn the consequences.

4) Only a weak man would make a call after he has lost an election that was manipulated just to save millions of lives and he said "It was an election and not a war, there was no winner and no loser, we all want a better country". Strong men after they have lost will order their supporters to kill pregnant corpers and take out the babies.

5) He was so weak he said and meant this "I am loyal to Nigeria’s economy. I don’t have accounts or property abroad. All my children live and school in Nigeria". Strong men have been in UK all their lives insulting GEJ and instigating anarchy in a country they and their families are not living.

6) WEAK men own up to challenges but still say "We may not have overcome our challenges, but neither have our challenges overcome us". Strong men when faced with challenges just BLAME GEJ.

7) Weak men preach peace because they are weak "Our founding fathers… did not dream of a country where neighbours and friends would exchange bullets in place of handshakes". Strong men say is either this or WE DIE, while their children and wife are in far away UK. Strong men say it's BLOOD for BLOOD.

8) Only a weak man would leave Aso rock healthy with his wife and family. We all know what happened to the strong men before and after him.

I can go on and one to prove GEJ was a "weak man". But lastly only a weak man can say this "I prefer to see the silver lining in the dark cloud rather than the dark cloud in the silver lining". This is why he never answers them; he sees the silver lining in the insults and they only make him stronger. 2 years gone, and he has loved ones that would stand by him.

MAY GEJ LIVE LONG AND MAY GOD GRANT HIM THE GRACE NEVER TO CHANGE FROM BEING WEAK TO BEING "STRONG". AGAIN ONLY A WEAK PRESIDENT CAN UNITE NIGERIA THE WAY HE DID. 2 YEARS GONE AND A STRONG AND COMPETENT MAN HAS TORN NIGERIA APART. INDEED THERE LIES GREAT UNTOLD STRENGTH IN WEAKNESS AND GEJ PROVES THAT.

IF EVERYONE LEAVES THIS MAN, I WILL BE THE LAST PERSON TO INSULT HIM; HE IS MY WEAK HERO.

Cross River Members of the Young Africa Leaders Initiative (YALI) Kick Start Good Governance Campaign.

Cross river–Members of the Young Africa Leaders Initiative (YALI) Network on Monday kick-started a month-long “Transparency and Good Governance Campaign” in commemoration of the 2019 election.

The campaign which seeks to explore ways in which individuals can cultivate and encourage more transparent, accountable behavior will involve a mix of online and in-person activities, including blog posts, ethical dilemma videos, Twitter chats, and an online course on responsible leadership and transparency.

In the good will  message  posted by Ipuole Patrick Adoga lauded the YALI Network members for dedicating their time and resources to the all-important goal of enhancing transparency and integrity in their respective communities.

According to him, the Jude Vanguard stands ready to continue assisting the people and government of Cross river in achieving its goal of greater openness and transparency.

The Jude vanguard, he added, has also provided assistance to organizations working to strengthen transparency.

“By coming together to lead this transparency and good governance campaign, you have answered the question of ‘what can I do’ for my community. As you reach out to your friends and associates in the coming weeks, make sure they know it’s not them against their leaders. More importantly, in everything that you do during this campaign, be constructive,” Hon.Ipuole told the audience comprising youth leaders active in community development, politics and civic issues.

The Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Network which includes over 230,000 young Africans from across the continent is a long-term effort to invest in the next generation of African leaders and strengthen partnerships between the United States and Africa which we the members of Jude vanguard have keyed into the dream.

The U.S. Department of State through its Bureau of International Information Programs provides both digital and off-line resources to these emerging leaders to help them build the skills and connections they need to become a positive force for change in their communities.

Together for a better tomorrow.

Thanks,
Patrick Adoga.
